Kerala Shines at Gulfood 2024, Showcasing Food Brands at Dubai World Trade Centre.The Kerala Pavilion illuminated the Dubai World Trade Centre at Gulfood 2024, the world's largest food and beverage trade show, held from February 19th to 23rd, 2024. Kerala entrepreneurs proudly presented their unique food products to a global audience, showcasing the state's diverse and vibrant food scene.
The Kerala Pavilion (Z-CP 22-Zabeel Plaza), set up by the Kerala State Industrial Development Corporation Limited (KSIDC), was inaugurated by NORKA-Industries Department Principal Secretary Suman Billa IAS. S. Harikishor, IAS, Director of Industries and Commerce, and KSIDC MD, also attended the event. The 19th edition of Gulfood 2024, which lasted for five days, attracted visitors from over 190 countries. 12 entrepreneurs from Kerala participated in the exhibition.
An investor meet themed 'Kerala: The Spice Capital of India' was organized at the Ritz-Carlton in Dubai. The investor meeting was addressed by Sunjay Sudhir, Indian Ambassador to the UAE; Suman Billa, IAS, Principal Secretary, Industries & NORKA; Shri S. Harikishore, IAS, KSIDC MD; and Saleh Abdullah Lootah, Chairman of the UAE Food & Beverage Manufacturing Business Group.
