KSIDC announces infrastructure support for Women Entrepreneurs
More than 1,500 women entrepreneurs from across Kerala participated in WE Summit 2015 – the first ever initiative for women entrepreneurs organized under the Women Entrepreneurship (WE) Mission programme by Kerala State Infrastructure Development Corporation (KSIDC). Inaugurated by Mr. Oommen Chandy, Chief Minister said the Women Entrepreneurs Collaborating and Networking (WECAN) initiative of KSIDC would give a new impetus to women entrepreneurs in the state.
During the occasion Government of Kerala announced the infrastructure support facility for women entrepreneurs at the garment manufacturing and export zone at Angamaly. The meet also ensure state government’s support to protect the local industry by building the necessary basic infrastructure.
Mr. P K Kunhalikutty, State Industries and IT Minister, Mr. P H Kurian, Principal Secretary of Industries & IT Department addressed the summit held at Bolgatty Palace, Kochi.
