KSIDC has been involved in various Start-up initiatives like Business Incubation Centres, Mentoring sessions for young entrepreneurs, seed funding for innovative start-ups etc since 2014. We have assisted more than 100 start-ups by way of seed fund assistance and as of now many start-ups are incubated in our two incubation centres located at Kozhikode and Ernakulam.
Most of the incubated start-ups and seed funded companies are in their early-stages and they require various skills to effectively manage, scale up and sustain their businesses. As part of building a unique ecosystem for continuous interaction between stakeholders, KSIDC had been conducting mentoring sessions on diverse topics by external experts. This Mentorship/Connect Programme is an extension of the KSIDC start-up activity, where the start-ups are nurtured by renowned mentors of national/international standards. The programme also aims at equip the start-ups to serve global markets/institutions
