 Industrial Growth Centre (IGC)

Industrial Growth Centre IGC is a Joint Industrial Infrastructure Project of Government of India (GOI) and Government of Kerala (GOK). The Project is aimed at the development of industrially backward districts of the State. In Kerala there are four Industrial Growth Centres located at Kannur, Kozhikode, Malappuram and Alappuzha Districts.

The main objective of the scheme is to acquire land and after developing the basic infrastructure facilities required for industries like Roads, Telecommunication, Water Supply, Power, Standard Design Factories, Administrative Buildings, etc and allot them as industrial of plots and built up area to prospective entrepreneurs.
